Nursing and Health Professions Alumni Message from the Dean!

Welcome Nursing and Health Profession Alumni!

The College of Nursing and Health Professions is fast reaching its five year anniversary since the Schools
of Nursing and Health Professions merged.

In August, 2000, the College was
also awarded a $3.3 million dollar grant from HRSA to build a new health center building to house the primary care and public health nursing practices that serve the public housing residents of the11th Street Corridor in North Philadelphia.  This Health Center is not only providing needed services but also creating an environment for interdisciplinary education.  Students form nursing, creative arts therapies, mental health sciences and physical therapy will be working
and learning together in this setting.

More than 250 Web based course offerings are creating new levels of convenience for students in CNHP.  Please visit our website at http://www.drexel.edu/cnhp to see how we have embraced new learning technologies to enhance our student’s information access skills, to improve our students’ clinical skill base and provide them with convenient and interesting ways to learn.
