Multidisciplinary Simulation Workshop

Saturday and Sunday, October 25 & 26, 2014

9:00 AM-4:00 PM

In this workshop, students from various graduate and professional programs in the health services will get together for a day to take part in various clinical and non-clinical health care scenarios. After each scenario, participants will discuss and reflect, applying knowledge and sharing relevant expertise to broaden the perspective of their collaborating students from different professions.

The goal of the workshop is to start establishing connections between soon-to-be colleagues in the health and health-related professions. The Simulation Workshop will provide the opportunity for students to see what clinical experiences may be like when they are working as professionals. Additionally, it gives clinical students the exposure to non-clinical perspectives about health delivery and systems, giving everyone a chance to learn about the different fields and to teach and learn from one other.
