The ExCITe Center
Drexel University's Expressive and Creative Interaction Technologies (ExCITe) Center is a hub for enabling teams of faculty, students, and entrepreneurs to pursue highly multi-disciplinary collaborative projects. ExCITe project participants come from engineering, fashion design, digital media, performing arts, computer and information science, product design, and many other fields.
The Lindy Center
The Lindy Center for Civic Engagement promotes the ideals of social responsibility and public service by facilitating community-based experiential learning for students, faculty, and staff. The Lindy Center collaborates with schools and colleges across the university to guide scholarship and research in the areas of civic engagement and community-based experiential learning. The Lindy Center provides meaningful and high-quality civic engagement opportunities for every Drexel student, supporting students as distinguished leaders in the area of public service. The Lindy Center develops community partnerships so that every Drexel student will recognize the benefits of public service to their education, their career, and to society.
The URBN Center
The URBN Center will be the new home for programs in the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design with the intention of sharing the URBN Center with the wider Drexel community. Students will enjoy newfound collaboration with industry professionals in addition to other Drexel schools and colleges. The URBN Center will also provide a black box theater for Performing Arts' Theatre program, a greatly expanded Leonard Pearlstein Gallery, a multi-use screening and lecture room, and offices for the Westphal College’s administrative functions.
