Damian Salas is an Assistant Teaching Professor and the Director of the Entrepreneurship Living-Learning Community at the Close School of Entrepreneurship. He is a seasoned manager with over 20 years leading successful nonprofit ventures. His success in establishing and implementing innovative operational and financial strategies for Horizon House, Inc. contributed greatly to the growth of the organization from $20M to $90M over 10 years.
Damian received the inaugural Training and Development’s Best Mission, and was the featured speaker at their 2008 and 2009 International Conference and Expo. In addition, he was a featured speaker at the 2010 International Quality & Productivity Center’s Conference speaking on strategy and innovation. His published works include, Workforce Development: The Dark Matter of HR in Human Resources IQ.
Damian is the co-founder of Inovas Group (IG). IG is a biomedical commercialization company bringing to market novel technologies that will reduce the rate of hospital acquired infections. He is also Managing Partner of Inovas Workforce, a management consulting company providing Lean Six Sigma and eLearning solutions to small and midsize healthcare companies.
Damian is a past board member of the Philadelphia Alliance, a provider association representing over $5B of healthcare services nationwide. As a board member, he chaired the Administrative Services Committee where he led the marketing and development strategies for the association.
Damian was the General Manager of Salas Builders, a family-owned custom home builder and property management company with over 80 units under management.
Damian received his Executive MBA from Drexel University.
