Jamuna Saha joined Drexel in 2011. Prior to arriving at the Close School, she served as an Academic Advisor in the RN-BSN Completion Program, where she worked with traditional and non-traditional online students. In this role, she provided academic advising, registration, online orientation, and served as a student advocate. In 2013, Jamuna was one of the recipients of the Drexel President's Award for Excellence.
Jamuna has a Master of Science in Higher Education Counseling/Student Affairs from West Chester University. While obtaining her graduate degree, Jamuna worked in Career Services, Academic Advising, New Students Programs, and the Office of Disability and Multicultural Affairs.
She is very passionate about entrepreneurship because her parents, first-generation immigrants from Bangladesh, are business owners. The belief that with hard work anything is possible has been instilled in Jamuna since her younger days. As Henry Ford states, “Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you are right.”
