Ian P. Sladen is the former assistant dean of the LeBow College of Business. For nearly a decade, Ian established and developed LeBow’s undergraduate program, through the expansion of academic advising staff and the creation of a career services, engagement and recruitment team. These efforts are largely responsible for LeBow’s record-high undergraduate student retention and graduation rates. In 2008, Ian won the President’s Award, the highest honor bestowed upon a Drexel University administrator. Prior to his time with LeBow, he spent six years working in Enrollment Management at both two- and four-year institutions. In 2002, Ian received the James McKeever Promising Professional Award from the Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling (PACAC). Ian has a BA in Psychology from Stonehill College (1995) and an MS in College Student Development in Counseling from Northeastern University (1998). He currently serves on the Higher Education subcommittee of the Philadelphia Academies, Inc. Ian lives in Skippack, Pennsylvania, with his wife Sue and his two children, Lucio and Annina.
