Gina 

Gina Waters has worked at Drexel since 2002. In her current role as the Associate Dean for Finance, Administration, & Academic Operations, Gina provides a variety of services related to school administration, operations and finance, and University compliance and regulations for both the Close School of Entrepreneurship and its Baiada Institute for Entrepreneurship. Gina also works in curricula development and student-facing areas within the Close School. 

Prior to joining the Close School in 2013, she served a diverse population of students, staff, and faculty as the Department Administrator in the History & Politics Department. In that role, Gina provided academic advising, registration, and program-planning assistance to both undergraduate and graduate students. In addition to her work in academic programming, Gina managed the department’s budgets, supervised departmental staff and work-study students, and supported thirty faculty members with various administrative issues. 

Before coming to Drexel, Gina was the Manager of the Oral History Program at the Chemical Heritage Foundation (now renamed The Science History Institute), a non-profit historical society located in Old City, Philadelphia. She graduated summa cum laude with a BA in history from West Chester University. A native of South Philadelphia, Gina now lives in Claymont, Delaware with her husband, Todd, and many cats.
