Assistant Teaching Professor and Director, Entrepreneurship Living-Learning Community
Damian Salas is an Assistant Teaching Professor and the Director of the Entrepreneurship Living-Learning Community for the Close School of Entrepreneurship. He is a past Adjunct Professor of Strategy and Management at Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business.
With over 20 years of executive management experience working in startup and mid-size companies, Damian has a proven track record of growing and sustaining successful companies. His published work include, “Workforce Development: The Dark Matter of HR” in Human Resources IQ, a leader in workforce publications nationwide. He also speaks regularly across the nation about productivity, quality, development and strategic planning.
Damian is co-founder and CEO of Inovas Group, LLC (IG), a diversified family of companies. Inovas Group is a biomedical commercialization company with partnerships in academia and industry. Through Damian’s leadership and vision, Inovas Group is driving toward the discovery of a new and novel technology that will prevent infections in hospitals. Inovas Group recently submitted to the Department of Defense a biomaterial for use by soldiers in combat.
Inovas Workforce, an IG company, is a management consulting firm specializing in Lean Six Sigma and Management Development.
Damian was the General Manager at Salas Builders, a family-owned local custom homebuilder and real-estate development company.
Damian is currently the Chief Marketing Officer for Floptopz. Sold in over 48 stores nationwide, Floptopz are the only sustainable cushioned insoles approved by flip-flop lovers worldwide.
Damian received his Executive MBA from Drexel University.
