Jewish Student Life

There are several opportunities for students to experience Jewish life at Drexel in a manner which is both fun and challenging, and which is integrated within the broader student community.

Drexel has a chapter of Hillel, the international Jewish campus organization, located at 30 S. 33rd Street, (215-895-2531). Hillel offers social, cultural, spiritual, educational, and community service activities, including Sabbath and holiday celebrations. In addition, Birthright Israel offers free trips to Israel for Jewish college students. Hillel in Philadelphia (215-898-8265) coordinates Birthright Israel on the Drexel campus.

Jewish students have been active in fraternities on campus, most notably Alpha Epsilon Pi which moved into a new home in 1999. There is also a Jewish Greek Council, composed of those within the Greek community at Drexel who have Jewish interests. For more information, contact the Office of Greek Life at 215-571-3575.
