CCI Doctoral Student Association Wins Best New Organization at Drexel University

The College of Computing & Informatics (CCI) Doctoral Student Association (DSA) recently won the Best New Organization Award from Drexel University’s Office of Graduate Studies and Graduate Student Association (GSA). The award was presented to the Association on Friday, May 29 at the Graduate Student Day awards ceremony in the Main Building on Drexel’s University City Campus.

Comprised of students in the College’s computer science and information studies doctoral programs, CCIDSA is dedicated to developing and maintaining a social and academic community among CCI doctoral students. The Association's mission is to stimulate intellectual, cultural and professional growth through social and academic events. Formed in 2014 and led by current doctoral students, the Association is an officially recognized group by the GSA.
