Course Development Grants

The Center for Civic Engagement has funds available for full-time faculty members to apply for a course development grant. These one time grants are to support the development of courses that include a civic engagement project. For a full description of course development grants, click here.

Faculty Civic Engagement Seminar

In conjunction with the course development grant, the CCE will host an on-going seminar as an opportunity for faculty who are either new to, or are interested in, integrating civic engagement into their courses to come together and discuss best practices, lessons learned, and other aspects of community based experiential learning. There is one seminar planned each for the Fall ’08, Winter and Spring ’09 terms. Part of the agenda will also include faculty members who are given a course development grant presenting their course/project to the group.
