Thermal and Fluid Sciences
This concentration provides students with a background in fluid
motion, heat transfer, combustion, HVAC (heating, ventilation,
and air conditioning), and applied thermo dynamics. These courses
prepare students for careers in a multitude of large and small
companies where the transfer of liquids, gases, and/or energy from
one location to another is required. Potential employers include
companies in the aerospace, automotive, chemical processing, power
generation, and HVAC industries.
