Minor in Nuclear Engineering
26.0 quarter credits
The Nuclear Engineering minor is open to all engineering majors. The minor consists of a minimum of six required courses for 17.0 credits and an additional 9.0 credits of elective courses.Prerequisites
The minor assumes that students will have a background in mathematics and physics equivalent to that covered in the first two years of the engineering curriculum. Specifically, students are required to complete the following pre-requisites: PHYS 101 Physics I; PHYS 102 Physics II; ENGR 210 Intro to Thermodynamics and ENGR 220 Fundamentals of Materials. Courses taken to meet these pre-requisite requirements will not count toward the minor.
