Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Epidemiology

The goal of the PhD program in Epidemiology is to prepare graduates to use the science of epidemiology to ask and answer highly meaningful public health questions.

Graduates will develop the skill and expertise necessary to initiate and direct the scientifically rigorous research necessary to generate the knowledge upon which to base public health and medical care policies and procedures designed to foster the maintenance and improvement of the health and wellbeing of populations.
