M.S.N. Nursing Education & Faculty Role Track


The nurse educator may be found in myriad settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, community centers, and corporate and philanthropic organizations. This program prepares nurses to become educational leaders. Program content includes integration of theories specific to adult learning, curriculum design, and evaluation of courses and programs. The program combines theory, research, and practice from the disciplines of education, management, and leadership. This content is applicable in a variety of settings in both the academic and clinical arenas.The curricula for the M.S.N. may be
completed entirely online and is designed for part-time attendance by working nurses.

The program is fully accredited by National League for Nursing Accreditation Commission and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
