14.0 Credits
The Post-Master’s Certificate in Medical Family Therapy, offered online, is designed to introduce a variety of currently practicing health care professionals to the ways acute and chronic medical illnesses and conditions influence and are influenced by psychosocial, relational, and family conditions and environments. Additionally, couple and family therapists and other professionals trained in the subspecialty of medical family therapy (or collaborative healthcare) will learn to work cooperatively to bridge gaps in the health care systems, and provide comprehensive and culturally congruent family focused services.
