Appropriate Technology

Career options exist in a number of sectors.Volunteer organizations, foundations, and development agencies that have established appropriate technology centers in underdeveloped countries need professionals with appropriate technology skills. Multinational corporations with branches in less developed countries also need innovative engineers with international experience.And, because appropriate technology students gain a particularly strong grounding in civil and environmental engineering, possibilities for graduate studies exist in those areas.
