Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics

The Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics offers M.S. and Ph.D. degrees, with three optional areas of specialization: mechanics, systems and control, and thermal and fluid sciences. The field is rapidly changing due to advances in materials, manufacturing, and communication. Mechanical engineers must possess diverse interdisciplinary skills, including an understanding of the global, entrepreneurial and managerial abilities, and teamwork skills.   About the program
