Physics

The Department of Physics awards master's and doctoral degrees in physics. Areas of specialization for thesis research include astrophysics; atomic and molecular physics; biophysics; chaos theory/nonlinear dynamics; condensed matter; nuclear physics; particle physics; and quantum optics.
