Criminal
Justice
Issues of crime and justice affect every individual at some
point in their lives if only as tax- paying citizens and voters. Criminal
Justice legislation, policy and decision-making and matters of community
safety and well being require well-educated professionals to administer,
legislate, communicate, and implement the work of the Criminal Justice
System. Students in Drexel's Criminal Justice program will be
well prepared to assume these roles and responsibilities.
About the Curriculum
The required courses provide the essential foundation for
further study in the various areas of criminal justice. Students will
acquire theoretical and methodological skills as well as courses in written
and oral communication so necessary for professional careers in this
field. The students in Drexel’s Criminal Justice program will also have
a robust foundation in statistics, and computer applications. Additional
required courses focus on the areas of forensic sciences, law and political
and social sciences.
