Housing and Residence Life

Drexel has a vibrant and active residential community, composed of nine residence halls, three affiliated properties, and 11 Living Learning Communities — providing elements that are unique to each living environment.

Create the Residence Life That's Right for You

Our housing options vary — from shared suites to Living Learning Communities and Gender-Inclusive Housing — so you can have a different living experience every year that you live on campus (or stick with what you like) . That choice is up to you!

Life in a Residential Community

One thing's for sure, while living in any campus residence hall — Drexel students engage with peers in meaningful ways and form lasting connections. Surrounded by many of our residence halls, Race Street Walk is the epicenter for our residential communities as they enjoy academic and social activities together throughout the year. These include weekly events coordinated by our live-in Resident Assistants (RAs) and hall-wide events designed to bring residents together. Race Street is also where the Involvement Fair is held each fall and spring quarter, as well as other community cookouts and the annual Homecoming Bonfire.

Support for Residents

You should feel more relaxed knowing that the staff members of Housing and Residence Life make sure that Drexel exists as a home away from home for all residential students. As you form a better connection to the Drexel campus and learn the values of living in a diverse community, engaging meaningfully with your peers, and gaining a greater sense of self-awareness — the professional and student staff members in Housing and Residence Life help you succeed both in and out of the classroom.
