Parking for Visitors

University City

Visitor parking is available in the Drexel Parking Garage or Lot C.

Drexel Parking Garage (Lot G): Use the self-serve pay-by-space system kiosk after parking vehicle and before leaving the parking garage.View Parking Garage location and map.

Lot C (3500 Filbert Street), conveniently located a block away from the new Drexel University Recreation Center. Lot C offers hourly parking with maximum of 5 hours. See the Rates page for more information. Customers must select the extent of duration and pay with a credit card in order to gain access. Display the printed receipt in plain view inside the vehicle's front dash.

Contractor and Vendor Parking

All contractor, vendor and service vehicles visiting the campus are subject to all University parking regulations; all parking is for a fee. Contractor, vendor and service vehicles must purchase a contractor parking permit and park in an authorized or assigned designated area. Vehicles may only park in the area designated on the permit. Parking on the grass, sidewalk, private driveway, etc., is prohibited. All exceptions must be approved though the Parking Office on a case by case basis. Loading docks are for delivery vehicles and Drexel University Facilities Management, emergency, and official vehicles only.

Department Visitors

Drexel University colleges and administrative offices who wish to utilize a University Cost Center to fund visitor parking should submit their request via the Parking Services SharePoint site. A minimum of 72-hours advanced notice is required.

Please note that this is a request only; the sponsoring department should wait for confirmation from Parking Services as all requests are handled on a space-available basis only.

Queen Lane

Guests may use the visitor parking lot at $10/day, payable using a major credit card at the kiosk located in the visitor's parking lot. A token is not necessary to exit the parking lot.

Department visitors to Queen Lane

Drexel University colleges and administrative offices who wish to utilize a University Cost Center to fund visitor parking should submit their request via the Parking Services SharePoint site. A coupon code will be issued for the specific event which would then be passed to the visitor. Departments with tokens can use the same form to "cash in" their tokens for new coupon codes at no additional fee.
