Drexelina is now in the 10th position, she has advanced one place in the general classification. Thanks, Sundae, for going farther. However, it appears that Drexelina hasn't moved since yesterday. She is as far today from the arrival as she was yesterday. Maybe some of the other turtles tied Drexelina to a rock near the beach. The nesting season is over, but maybe she didn't get the message. She invested too much in reproduction and that, could have affected her migrating capabilities…

My daughter's second grade class is following the race, and Drexelina is the turtle my daughter picked. :)
I have to say...it's GOT to be tempting (or at least a joke among y'all) to want to pick up Drexelina and Sundae and give them a little help starting, isn't it? OK, maybe not. ;)

Go Drexelina...as long as you don't pass Saphira. Drexelina is just a late-bloomer; she'll "flip" it into high gear soon.
