The Department of Biology is home to exciting events and opportunities that serve as a venue for intellectual exchange and inquiry. Diverse topics in biological research, from neuroscience to environmental science and conservation, are discussed each week in the Department Seminar Series. Speakers range from leading international researchers to experts right here in the Department of Biology.

Our faculty members are not the only ones engaged in cutting-edge work: each week our graduate students present their exciting research as well. The Graduate Student Seminar Series is an opportunity for each graduate student to enhance their presentation abilities and practice explaining diverse and interesting topics.
