Celebrating Dragon Pride!
The month of February is all about celebrating our shared Drexel pride. We'll cheer on the Dragons at Alumni Day at the DAC, and alumni will help us finish the statement, "I am a Dragon because…" We'll celebrate this month of spirit and pride with a little help from our fire-breathing friend, Mario the Magnificent. Go Dragons!
Many words describe a Drexel dragon:
ambitious, hard-working, creative, successful. Drexel alumni took our challenge of finishing the sentence "I am a Dragon because ..." by sharing the qualities that make them a Dragon throughout the month of February.

More than 200 Drexel alumni and alumni family members joined a sold-out crowd in the Daskalakis Athletic Center for Alumni Day at the DAC on February 11.
The day was filled with special Year of the Dragon activities in the Drexel Recreation Center, including basketball shoot-outs, Zumba dancing and a full obstacle course for kids.
Drexel alumni received "I am a Dragon" t-shirts, which they customized by sharing the qualities that make them each Dragons. They then gathered together for a group photograph before heading into the arena.
Inside the DAC, alumni enjoyed a reception above the court in the Hazem Maragah Hospitality Suite while cheering the Dragons on to a 78-67 victory over Hofstra.
