Drexel at Hofstra: Men's Basketball Game and Alumni Reception

The pre-game alumni reception scheduled at Champions Long Island Sports Bar has been cancelled. However, if you pre-registered to attend, complimentary game tickets will be available at Hofstra University's will-call window. Pre-registered guests will not be charged for the event.

Drexel's Graduate Center Marks One Year in Sacramento

A year ago, Drexel administrators and faculty were joined by elected officials and civic leaders to mark the historic opening of Drexel’s Sacramento Center for Graduate Studies, housed blocks from California’s State Capitol.

Just a year later, Drexel has established firm roots in the community, tripling its original enrollment to more than 175 students and offering new and unique opportunities for advanced degrees.

The Center now offers eight master’s programs and one doctorate, up from four programs last January, and more are under consideration. More

Drexel Student Named College Entrepreneur of the Year

Bradley Ericson, a student at Drexel' LeBow College of Business, was named Entrepreneur magazine's 2009 College Entrepreneur of the Year. Ericson is co-founder and CEO of 3SecondReceipts LLC, a company developing a platform to create manageable, itemized digital receipts to replace traditional thermal paper receipts.

Ericson will receive a grand prize that includes $5,000 in start-up capital, the cover story of Entrepreneur's January 2010 issue, and a follow-up article in 2011 about his business' progress. More
