New this year, the Alumni Association will launch a 24-hour virtual site that you can join at any time and participate in the Global Night of Networking. All you need is a computer and an internet connection.
Check out the just-announced programming schedule and plan to part of the worldwide excitement online!
NOW: Our goal is to have 1,390 or more alumni participate in the Global Night of Networking – that would be 1% of the Drexel alumni population. With your help, we can make it happen! Use Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter to spread the word about the Global Night of Networking and invite your personal network of Drexel colleagues and friends to join you in the celebration. You can do this using your own social networks, as well as through the Alumni Association's Facebook page, LinkedIn group or Twitter feed (using the hashtag #DrexelGNN).
ON April 18: Alumni at receptions will post photos and updates to Facebook and tweet what's going on using the hashtag #DrexelGNN. If you attend a reception in your area, be sure to share your experience with the Drexel alumni community on Facebook or Twitter!
Invite your Drexel friends to come out to your local GNN or to a location where they live and you could win a Kindle Fire HD Tablet!
Text, e-mail, Tweet or call your Drexel classmates and encourage them to sign up today. Besides being a fun chance to catch up while meeting other Drexel graduates in your area, you will be entered into a drawing to win a 7" 16GB Amazon Kindle Fire HD Tablets for every five alumni who credit you for inviting them!
When alumni register to attend a GNN reception, they will be asked how they heard about the event. For every five alumni who list your name and then attend, you will receive one entry into the drawing.* The more alumni who list your name and attend, the greater your chances of winning.
Reach out to your entire Drexel network, get them all to sign up and attend, and maximize your chances to win! And, be sure to remind them to list your name!
*Important: References will only count for Drexel alumni who actually attend a Global Night of Networking reception and will be tabulated between April 19 and 30, 2013. Winners will be drawn on May 1, 2013.
