Community Relations Partnerships
Community Relations Partnerships
The goal of our Community Relations work is to enhance the quality of life for residents of the University’s diverse communities. By serving as a liaison between the University and the communities surrounding its three campuses and beyond, the Office of Government and Community Relations is able to translate community needs and facilitate the building of positive partnerships that benefit both the University and the community at large. Community Relations Taskforce
The Office of Government and Community Relations convened a University-wide Community Relations Task Force that has been chaired by Cynthia Livingston and meeting bi-monthly since 1999. The goal of the Task Force is to coordinate and collaborate on community endeavors across the schools, and to develop new, interdisciplinary initiatives. What began as a small committee of seven, it has now grown to include a wide list of members and their alternates. Click here to see a complete list of the 2007-08 Members.
