Sick Leave

Exempt Full Time Staff

Accrues one (1) sick leave day per month and begin accruing sick leave on the Base Date so long as the employee continuously works at the University. Eligible regular, full time, exempt and contractual staff accrues a total of twelve (12) sick days per fiscal year.

Non-Exempt Full Time Staff

Accrues sick leave each pay period based on their scheduled hours of work, and accrues a total of twelve (12) sick days per year.

Regular Part Time Employees

Accrue 12 days per year pro-rated based on regular scheduled hours.
