Nominees must be faculty members currently employed at an institution of higher
education or a non-profit research institution in the United States.
The recipient must be available for the presentation of the award at Drexel's
Commencement in mid-June and for post-award academic activities including a one-week
residency at Drexel in fall 2010.
Drexel University faculty members are not eligible.
Selection Criteria for 2010
Impact of individual's research on advancing civil engineering practice
Scientific/technological productivity and impact as evidenced by publications,
presentations, citations, awards, patents, research funding and technology transfer
Effectiveness in translating basic research and development of new technology
to practice
Impact on education, training and mentorship of students and other individuals
