Message from the Provost

Drexel's approach to research focuses on applications directed at solving real-world problems. Drexel's efforts complement those of the national research community, and we initiated the Anthony J. Drexel Exceptional Achievement Award to honor a U.S. researcher who has demonstrated major achievement in such use-inspired research. Recognizing the relationship of quality-of-life and infrastructure nationally and worldwide, we have designated the 2010 award to recognize outstanding contributions for research in civil engineering.
