A Message from the President

Twenty-first-century research is collaborative, multidisciplinary and focused on real-world solutions that impact lives. In that spirit, we have established the Anthony J. Drexel Exceptional Achievement Award to build new connections to the national research community and celebrate the transformative work going on in American labs. Drexel is committed to translational or "use-inspired" research, and we hope that the 2009 award process will introduce us to the nation's most innovative researchers working in the crucial area of biomedical engineering/life sciences.
