Part of Drexel University's mission is to advance basic and translational research across disciplines. We do so within an international community of researchers and creative thinkers. Acknowledging that our contributions to society are supported by the broader intellectual community of researchers, we created the Anthony J. Drexel Exceptional Achievement Award to recognize a faculty member from a U.S. institution whose work transforms both research and the society it serves. This year’s $50,000 was awarded for excellence in research in civil engineering. More about the award
