Freshman admission into the School's Teacher Education Program follows the same general policy for all applicants who apply to Drexel University for undergraduate admission.  Please refer to the current published undergraduate catalog for complete information.  Admission for upper-class, transfer students requires at least a 3.0 average in the candidate's certification area content courses.

Undergraduate applicant requirements for entrance into the University include SAT scores and successful performance during the candidate's secondary and prior post-secondary school experiences (if applicable).  To enter the Teacher Education major, an undergraduate candidate typically must obtain the average score of 1140 on the SAT and/or have a grade point average of between 2.75 and 3.0 in any prior schooling.

Please be advised that the Undergraduate Teacher Education Handbook  governs program and certification requirements and is supplemental to the Drexel Undergraduate Catalog.
