Heather Blackburn rejoined the Goodwin College of Professional Studies at Drexel University in January 2004 as the program manager for the undergraduate, full-time B.S. degree in Sport Management. She previously worked as an academic advisor in the Goodwin College, formerly known as The College of Evening and Professional Studies, in 2000.

As program manager in the sport management program, Heather advises students on their plan of study and works to identify co-op opportunities and career placement in conjunction with the Steinbright Career Development Center. She also assists the admissions office in the marketing and recruitment of students. In addition, she plans extra-curricular events for students in the sport management program which include career networking nights, sport related volunteering opportunities, and visits such as the one last year to the Philadelphia Eagles training camp.

Heather earned a master of education degree in higher education management from the University of Pennsylvania . She has her undergraduate degree from Lehigh University (PA).

A former NCAA Division I athlete, Heather participates in a number of sports including cycling, in-line skating and running.
