Advisory Board
The Sport Management program has a strong tie with the local industry through the Sport Management Advisory Board. The members are active practitioners with many years of experience in the sport industry. The committee provides invaluable advice, guidance, and support for the Sport Management program.
Current members include the following:
- Ron Jaworski quarterbacked the Philadelphia Eagles to the 1981 Super Bowl against the Oakland Raiders. He was selected as the NFL Player of the Year in 1980 and has shown tremendous involvement in numerous charitable and civic events in the greater Philadelphia area. Mr. Jaworski is also the former president of the South Jersey chamber of commerce, president of the Arena Football League’s Philadelphia Soul, and an ESPN analyst.
- Greg Cosell, a senior producer at NFL Films, brings 26 years of experience in sport film production and the broadcasting industry to the advisory board.
- Dave Rowan is the Vice President of Sports Sales for CBS Radio and the former Vice President of Corporate Sales for the Philadelphia Eagles. His 25-year career has included experience in areas of management including facility financing, facility operations, concession operation, broadcasting, television, radio, and Internet, along with experience in minor league baseball.
- Leonard Bonacci is the Director of Special Services for the Philadelphia Eagles. In this capacity, he manages the day-to-day operations of Lincoln Financial Field. Mr. Bonacci formerly held the position of Corporate Services and Training Camp Coordinator for the Eagles.
- Molly Mullady, Vice President of Business Development for the WNBA, also served as manager of new business development for the Philadelphia Eagles.
- Tony Williams, founder and president of the StarFinder Foundation, has 19 years of experience in international soccer. He provides insight to the non-profit youth organization industry promoting children’s personal growth.
- Loretta Jenkins, administrator of the Doylestown (PA) Athletic Association, has 15 years of experience in project management. She currently serves on the Central Bucks School District superintendent’s advisory council where she works on elementary school long-range planning. Ms. Jenkins also volunteers with the American Red Cross Blood Drive and the League of Women’s Voters.
- Art Bass, President and Director of Girls Basketball for the Doylestown Athletic Association, manages and operates youth basketball leagues with upwards of 130 teams within the same season.
