Doreen Burdalski worked in the fashion industry for 20 years prior to teaching, first as a ready-to-wear buyer for a Philadelphia-based chain of stores and later as the visual merchandising director for the company. While teaching in higher education for the past seven years, Doreen has kept current with the fashion industry through networking and research. She brings industry executives into the classroom to give students first-hand knowledge of the industry. Doreen has served on the Educational Foundation Board for Fashion Group International. |
