AET: Manufacturing Materials Lab
The Mechanical Materials laboratory is used for laboratory exercises supporting MET 101 Manufacturing Materials and MET 103 Applied Mechanics, and MHT 312 Applied Strength Materials. Laboratory includes industrial testing procedures and experiments. Students learn a variety of materials for manufacturing processes including Tensile Test, Bending Test, Torsion Test, Strain Gage Test with Coke Cans, Hardness Test, Heat Treatment and Hardness, and Piezo-Electric Ceramics Material Testing.
For more information, please contact our AET faculty Dr. Chiou.
