In U.S.News & World Report's "America's Best Graduate Schools 2008" Drexel's Civil & Environmental Engineering Graduate Programs ranked 49th and 47th respectively.

The department of Civil, Architectural & Environmental Engineering currently offers full-time and part-time Masters of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in both civil and environmental engineering.

The graduate programs in environmental engineering offer specializations in air pollution, hazardous and solid waste, subsurface contaminant hydrology, water resources, and water and wastewater treatment.

The graduate program in civil engineering offers students the opportunity to develop a more fundamental and complete understanding of the principles that govern the planning, design, construction, and operation of large-scale infrastructure systems and facilities, and water resources management.

Fellowships, teaching and research assistantships are available.
