Continuing Professional Education

Adult education courses offer the flexibility to work with your busy schedule.

Continuing Professional Education (CPE) at the Goodwin College of Professional Studies provides non-credit professional development courses and certificates in industry-related fields that are either growing exponentially, or are emerging as the result of strong regional or global factors. Students seek to advance in their current positions, explore career alternatives or enhance their knowledge in their area of interest.

Engaging in lifelong learning to attain professional goals is at the core of Drexel's CPE course and certificate offerings. A distinct benefit is networking with faculty who are knowledgeable, insightful and supportive, as well as classmates who have similar interests and are looking to maximize their professional potential. Students often refer to "lasting bonds" that are established in the classrooms that result in long-term opportunities for networking. In an Adult Career Workshop, for example, students started a Job Club to support each other in their individual searches, continuing to meet long after the course ended.

At Drexel, Continuing Professional Education is committed to the 21st century professional, providing programs that are current and comprehensive, while addressing the demands and opportunities of today’s business environment.
