Welcome to the Division of Administrative and Business Services

Jim Tucker in the Main Building Great Court

Since its founding in 1891, Drexel University has differentiated itself by offering an education that embraces new technology as a necessity for providing a solid foundation for excellence. Adopting the innovative spirit that Drexel emanates, Administrative and Business Services (A&BS) challenges itself to overcome boundaries and find new ways of improving the administrative services and quality of life to better serve the entire Drexel community.

The A&BS team is committed to creating and delivering valuable services and programs to advance Drexel’s living, learning, and working environments. The breadth and depth of A&BS’s commitment can be seen in many areas of the university – from new construction to the renovation of existing facilities, from the variety of offerings in our retail and dining services to the latest and most advanced campus security systems.

Drexel has seen tremendous growth over the last decade which has evolved into a dynamic period of innovation, collaboration, and teamwork. The President’s Cabinet and their associates are inspired and prepared to work together to design and create a future with unlimited opportunity for all of us – and to LIVE IT.™

We are mastering our destiny and raising Drexel’s prominence of being a world-class institution and a respected leader in higher education.

The tremendous response – from the university community, the city of Philadelphia, and our industry partners – to the work and success of this Division has been exceedingly positive, and I am proud of that.

My thanks to all the dedicated professionals in A&BS, who take pride in their responsibility to make the Drexel experience an affirming and memorable one for all of our stakeholders. I proudly present to you the ABS team, its leaders and their departments, and their missions that guide them in Drexel’s tradition of excellence.
