Veteran Student Services Information Fair
Location: Main Building Great Court
Time: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Representatives from the Pennoni Honors College, DegreeWorks, Counseling and Health, Disability Services, Campus Activities, Drexel Learning Center, Student Resource Center, Registrar, Athletics and Recreation and Student Financial Services and academic advisors will be on hand to discuss services available for the University’s currently enrolled veterans.
Armory Museum Tour
Location: 103rd Engineers Battalion Armory (33rd and Cuthbert Streets)
Time: 2 to 3 p.m.
Students, faculty and staff are invited to tour the Armory Museum, The museum displays 18th century objects from the Revolutionary War through the 20th century, including Revolutionary War Uniforms, rifles, prints and discharge papers dated 1783 and signed by George Washington; Civil War-era photographs, documents, flags, uniforms and paintings; silver presentation pieces, maps, hats, canteens, posters, rifles and letters from World War I; and canteens, drums, hats and uniforms from World War II.

Join members of the University’s Veterans Task Force and celebrate the grand opening of the new Veteran Student Services office.
Virtual Open House for Prospective Veteran Students
Registration 5:45 p.m., presentation 6 to 7 p.m.
Prospective veteran students can register for a virtual open house to review Drexel degree options, the admissions process, VA benefits, including the Yellow Ribbon program, and veteran services on campus.

CEO Workshop: “Team Building and Team Dynamics”

Presented by: John McGarrigle ’69, ’73, former director of Managed Contracts & Reporting, Genesis Health Care Corporation
This workshop will provide students and their teams with an array of organizational leadership tactics including building a team, setting goals, motivation, collaboration, creating an environment of success and managing different personalities and hidden agendas. McGarrigle is an experienced military veteran, commissioned at Drexel in 1969. He served on active duty for two years and followed with five years of active reserve duty teaching leadership for the New Jersey National Guard units. He completed a program at the Army Command and General Staff College -- the equivalent of earning a master's degree in military science -- and retired as a Captain of Infantry.

Gronski is a management consultant with more than 10 years of experience implementing large, complex projects, leading business teams and working as a trusted advisor to executives. Brigadier General Gronski is a senior leader in the Pennsylvania National Guard. A proven combat leader, he commanded a brigade of more than 5,400 U.S. soldiers and Marines and approximately 5,000 Iraqi soldiers in Ramadi, Iraq between 2005-06.

Veterans Appreciation Night at the DAC
Location: Daskalakis Athletic Center
Time: 7 p.m.
Cheer on the Drexel women’s basketball team in the season opener against Penn State. During half-time, the supplies collected during Veterans Week will be presented to Karen Jennings of the Military Support Group of New Jersey to distribute to troops currently serving overseas.
