What is Orientation or NSO?
New Student Orientation is a program designed to help our newest ‘Dragons’ become familiar with our campus while gearing up for academic & personal success. The day and a half freshmen program and one-day transfer program include the presentation of campus resources, discussions with student leaders, and opportunities to meet other new students. Orientation is offered several times throughout the year to new freshmen and transfer students; however, the summer months (July & August) are our busiest times for new students. Each year, approximately 22 Orientation Leaders are chosen to assist with the program.
