Academic Properties, Inc. (API), a subsidiary of Drexel University, supports the academic mission of the University. By being a tenant oriented, professional, self-sustaining property management company and by acquiring or controlling properties of strategic importance to the future growth of the University, API strives to return value to the University.

Summary of Services

• Acquire or gain control of properties of strategic importance to the future growth of the University.
• Maintain and offer properties for the housing of Drexel students, faculty and staff in the vicinity of Drexel University.
• Maximize appreciation of and/or income derived from properties owned and controlled.
• Sell or otherwise dispose of properties when such sale or disposition is determined to be in the best interest of the Corporation.
• Operate as a self-sustaining entity.
• Provide a source of revenue to Drexel University.
