Workshops
The Center for Integrated Nutrition & Performance (CINP) staff offers a wide variety of workshops throughout the academic year providing, evidenced-based nutritional advice, available to the entire Drexel community. Our workshops are designed to meet general health needs or may be designed to meet the specific needs of your group or organization.
Nutrition Workshops
Nutrition for Exercise & Sports - This workshop will offer guidance on healthy sources of protein, proper amounts of protein, staying hydrated, and optimal foods for pre- & post-workouts!
Making the Right Choices - This workshop will strive to educate attendees on making the right choices on when planning meals, eating on the go, and recognizing healthier options, especially with the holiday season around the corner.
The Savvy Shopper - This workshop will focus on healthy campus options, as well as how to shop for healthy foods on a budget.
Managing Stress - Do you have a difficult time with balancing food intake when stress levels are high? This program will give you the tools to focus on relieving stress and making healthier food choices during stressful times.
Nutrition for the Commuter - This presentation will offer simple tips to save money and stay healthy while commuting to and from Drexel. This program will give you advice on which foods to choose from the food trucks, the dining halls, and how to keep your food safe.

Weight Management Program
The Center for Integrated Nutrition & Performance is offering a unique weight management program for Drexel faculty and staff that will utilize experts from our University community to teach you how to make healthy lifestyle choices for weight loss and management.
Our program will include:
- Lunch by Chestnut Street Caterers
- Nutrition and fitness assessments
- Weekly classes and weight checks
- 1 Personal training session
- Sample meal plans with visual food models
- Membership to Drexel Recreation Center
- During 8-week program
- A chance to win an iPad
- Total cost: $200
- Two individual Nutrition Counseling sessions (optional): add $100
Experts Include:
- Registered Dietitians
- Exercise Physiologists
- Behavior Therapists
- Culinary Chefs
Register early – we are limiting registration to 20 people!
Deadline for registration is January 9, 2012
Registration must be done in-person at the Rec Center Welcome Desk
