Office of Support Services

The Drexel University Department of Public Safety, Office of Support Services is responsible for providing victim support services and awareness education programs to the campus community.

  • Assist students that have been a victim or witness of a crime and will, with the student’s authorization, interact with other departments to coordinate any special needs the student may have. The Office of Support Services will make every effort to protect the identity, confidentiality, and the personal information of the student.
  • Offers various programs and resources designed to assist members of the Drexel University community when a situation arises that requires victim support services or intervention.
  • Provides immediate assistance and support, including crisis intervention, accompaniment to legal and medical proceedings, and acts as a conduit to the Philadelphia Police Department, other University Departments, and various community resources.  
  • Assists the Philadelphia Police Departments, Campus Investigators, and the Office of Student Life in reviewing incidents or crimes involving Drexel University students, faculty, or staff members.
  • In addition, the Office of Support Services will work directly with Student Health, Counseling/Psychological Services, the Office of Student Life, and our community partners as well as city, state and federal resources.
