Tape Recording

Tape recording lectures, labs, and other classroom related activities may be an appropriate and reasonable accommodation due to a documented disability. All accommodations due to a disability are determined on a case-by-case basis by the Office of Disability Services (ODS). For additional information about requesting accommodations due to disability, go to: Requesting Accommodations.

Prior to tape recording a lecture, lab, or other classroom related activity, students need to share their accommodation verification letter (AVL) with the faculty member. Students need to have also completed a Tape Recording Agreement Form (Agreements) with ODS staff, prior to tape recording at Drexel University. The Agreements are completed prior to the AVL being issued. For additional information about obtaining an AVL, go to: Accommodation Verification Letter. Agreements are available from ODS.
