Meet the Staff of the Office of Disability Services
The Office of Disability Services has a professional staff that is available to address the accommodation needs of students, employees, and campus guests with disabilities. We encourage people with disabilities to schedule appointments with our staff in order to address individual accommodation needs.
Jeffrey Bonfield
Interim Director, Office of Disability Services and 504/ADA Compliance Officer
Jeff joined Drexel University in 2001 and is the Director of the Center for Academic Success on Drexel’s Center City Hahnemann Campus. In that position, Jeff provides academic support to health sciences students, including students with disabilities. Recently, Jeff took on the additional role as Interim Director of the Office of Disability Services. Jeff provides direct services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, blind or visually impaired, and to employees with disabilities.
Jenny Dugger, M.A.
Disability Specialist
Jenny joined Drexel University in June of 2006. She received her Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration and her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Southeast Missouri State University. She has worked in disability services in varying capacities since her undergraduate studies in 2000. Jenny works in various capacities with all students, but most closely with students who have physical conditions and chronic health impairments, as well as those who have accommodation needs for alternative formats, adaptive technologies, and exam administration in the ODS.
Marlene Koestenblatt, Ed.D
Accommodation Specialist
Marlene works through the accommodation process with students who have learning disabilities, attention deficit disorder, with and without hyperactivity, and psychological impairments. Marlene came to Drexel during the summer of 2005. She has a doctorate in Neuropscyhology Learning Disorders from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, an undergraduate degree in Psychology, and a certification in School Psychology/Learning Disabilities.
