A service animal is an animal, commonly a dog, that is trained to perform functions or tasks for a person with a disability. Studentsand employees with disabilities may use service animals to provide a variety of functions throughout their daily life. Drexel University recognizes students may need to bring their service animals on-campus during their participation in educational and campus activities and events. Students with disabilities who want to bring a service animal to campus, must register with the Office of Disability Services (ODS). For additional information regarding registering with ODS, go to: Registering with the Office of Disability Services.

If a direct threat issue is present, the service animal will not be allowed on-campus.
