What Constitutes Required Reading Materials
The Office of Disability Services (ODS) will provide alternative formats for individuals with disabilities who provide documentation to Office. Although ODS encourages individuals with disabilities to participate in lifelong learning through reading, ODS will secure alternative formats for required reading materials and those to participate in campus events.
Required reading materials include:
- For students - Those reading materials listed as required in each course syllabus. The course syllabus is developed by each faculty member.
- For employees - Those reading materials necessary to perform the essential functions of the position. The materials will be identified collaboratively between the employee, supervisor, and ODS.
